Heat Treatment

Application of all standard heat treatment processes:

• Annealing
• Solution annealing
• Stress-relief annealing
• Normalising
• Soft annealing
• FP (fixed point) annealing

Equipment: bogie hearth furnaces with usable furnace capacity of:

• 10.60 m length
• 2.24 m width
• 1.50 m height

Individual furnace capacity: max. 50 t

Annealing in water up to a length of: 5.40 m 

Annealing in polymer up to a length of: 9.60 m

The application of polymer technology in the heat treatment ensures greater safety in the process sequence with regard to health and safety at work as well as environmental protection and guarantees optimum hardness properties in the case of Q & T steels.
